Inside Sales Rep – HPSW Education

Inside Sales Rep will engage with customers and prospects to position and sell HP Software Education offerings via phone and email. This individual must have an entrepreneurial style and have the ability to own and hit/exceed sales targets within assigned territory. Must be able to create a strategic sales plan, prioritize and manage time around that plan. Sells primarily transactional, owns strategic entry points at the customer aligned to the business objective of area.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects and key contacts (technical and decision makers) within an organization to generate new Education business.
  • Call into Software Installed base to sell different types of Software training courses.
  • Build and grow the Education Pipeline through outbound call campaigns
  • Utilize SalesForce.com to document all lead and opportunity related information and communications.

Qualifications

  • BA in Business/ Marketing or an equivalent Degree
  • Preferably with atleast 1-2 years Inside Sales experience but experience in telemarketing will also be considered.
  • Driven to succeed and self-motivation towards your personal and career growth is a must
  • Aggressive “sales hunter” skills are a must
  • Ability to prioritize work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication and customer service skills required
  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Capable and willing to function according to measurable objectives/KPIs.
