Inside Channel Sales Support Reporting Analyst - Intermediate

Job Description:

The typical engagements would involve designing and developing data bases, OLAP cubes, dashboards, scorecards and reports, drill down/deep dive analysis of data related to metrics, units, orders, revenue, shipments, leads, pipeline, win/ loss, budgets, forecasts, etc.

Selected resources are expected to conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business management group on a regular basis and achieve business impact, and high impact data viz.

He/she will execute the reporting and insights activities with minimal supervision, applying all relevant HPE guidelines. He/she will collaborate with internal experts to meet/exceed partners* requirements, and will also proactively build domain knowledge of relevant products and services through self-training and research.

Skills Needed:

  • University Degree
  • Experience building and maintaining complex quantitative & qualitative models
  • Advanced English (expert level).

Generic Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in Databases (SQL), developing software (Visual Basic, .NET)
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables with minimum guidance
  • Highly competent analyst with a strategic approach and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Should be able to understand core Hewlett Packard Enterprise businesses and revenue cycle within a steep learning curve.
  • Inclination & experience towards report automation
  • Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to trend data, design reports and automate processes
  • Strong knowledge of data structure, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and technical knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, either Spanish or English
  • Ability to learn, progress and evolve to business reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude towards learning and new technology
  • Team player
  • Self-starter requiring minimum training or on-boarding effort
