The candidate will work on a 24×7 team providing security Analysis and Computer Network Defense Services directly to the Client; monitoring security audit and intrusion detection systems logs for system and network anomalies. Investigating and/or escalating security violation’s, attempts to gain unauthorized access, Identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives; virus infections that may affect the network, or any other event that may affect the security of the network. She/he will document and report these events as well as assist in providing oversight and enforcement of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures.
Candidate shall have appropriate certification in compliance with the requirements of the DoD 8570 Information Assurance Category CNDSP Infrastructure Support. The Client Perfers CEH Certified Candidates.

Qualifications and Education Requirement:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field, with minimum 7 years of experience in network, host, data and/or application security in multiple OS environments or a combination of education and demonstrated experience equivalent in the IS security field. Ability to Deny, degrade, and disrupt adversarial operations found on networks.
Detecting advance persistent threats (APTs) and adversarial network activities on all networks. Search out new APTs and adversarial network activities on network that evades traditional computer network defense (CND) methods. Research synthesize, and contextualize threat information to generate hunt leads to enable unstructured Hunting and develop Indicators of Compromise (IoC) for structured Hunting operations leveraging Big Data analytics. Conduct Adversarial Pursuit (Hunt) Analysis in support of customer activities & Execute customer identified and prioritized tasks in response to mission needs. Experience working with IP networking and networking protocols and an understanding of security-related technologies, including encryption, IPSec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS electronic mail, and access lists; Thorough understanding of network and operational security best practices; Good knowledge of internet technology, web, database applications, and network security techniques.
Experience working with relevant OS security (Windows, Linux, Solaris, etc.); Experience working with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologies. Analytical and problem-solving skills. A Self-Motivator with the ability to work independently as well as with a team, with good oral and written communication skills as well as good customer-service skills. Experience working with federal regulations related to information security, (FISMA, Computer security Act. etc.)
