The company designs and delivers Mobility-Defined Networks that empower IT departments and #GenMobile, a new generation of tech-savvy users who rely on their mobile devices for every aspect of work and personal communication. To create a mobility experience that #GenMobile and IT can rely upon, Aruba Mobility-Defined Networks™ automate infrastructure-wide performance optimization and trigger security actions that used to require manual IT intervention. The results are dramatically improved productivity and lower operational costs.

What You'll Do

You will drive software design and algorithms for indoor positioning using WiFi networks and BLE. Investigate and research new technologies. Use you background in indoor and outdoor positioning techniques and apply the latest research to build and architect location algorithms, location analytics and location based customer-engagements.

Who You Are

We are looking for an expert in indoor and outdoor location techniques. This position provides the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to contribute to architecting and building a location service that unlocks myraid other location-aware services and use-cases. Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are

  • Relevant industry experience of 5 or more years.
  • Minimum education at BS or MS level in Computer Science or related fields. A PhD is considered advantageous.
  • Proven record of Python/Java/C programming.
  • Solid grasp of computer science concepts including data structures, object-oriented design, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms.
  • Ability to think and operate as a team player
  • Must have 5+ years of experience of location algorithms and techniques, and embedded system development preferably on 802.11, BLE and Linux systems.
  • A thorough background in indoor and outdoor positioning techniques.

Our Desired Skills Are

  • Day-to-day working knowledge of contemporary source code development tools and techniques (e.g. GIT, Maven, Eclipse)
  • Ability to learn complex technology quickly, work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage details and keep sight of overall objectives
  • Experience with 802.11 wireless standards and networks preferred.
