HPE is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for future opportunities as a Business Manager.

Responsibilities:

Perform business management functions for high profile DoD cloud offering using utility based pricing model. Apply common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.

Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components, and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.

Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals.

Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization.

Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products.

Provide business management oversight and direction for all customer chargeback coordination and billing related tasks.

Leads moderate to complex financial analysis for a global sub-business or finance function, exercising a good understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.

Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business.

Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a limited scope

Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.

Actively reviews and analyzes the key controls within the financial process to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SBC, AFM).

Bachelor’s in business or related field, MBA preferable

5 years of relevant IT/business experience

Knowledge of commercial and DoD cloud offerings

Experience with utility/consumption based pricing models for IT services (IAAS)

Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

Excellent analytical skills.

Good project management skills.

Good people management skills, including managing teams across geographies.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong business acumen.

Good understanding of the company’s policies and processes.

Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
