HPE Connected Products Business Segment Manager


The Internet of Things and remote monitoringtechnologies are saving data center customers time and resources throughproactive and predictive insight to challenges and opportunities.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services needs a strongteam player with expertise in enterprise data center infrastructure and/ortechnology services to help drive our remote connectivity strategy with HPEserver, storage, networking and/or software product groups.

  • In this fast-paced, rapidlychanging environment, you’ll play a pivotal role in strategic and tacticalengagement on co-development plans that enable HPE products for outstandingserviceability.
  • You’ll develop and maintain aremote connectivity vision and roadmap for multiple HPE product lines, as wellas relentlessly pursue and incorporate customer and channel partner needs intoyour plan.
  • You’ll champion yourjointly-developed connected products plans with executives and key stakeholdersthroughout the organization, and drive on-time execution.
  • You have at least 7 years ofproduct marketing, product management, and/or marketing or business segmentmanagement experience.
  • You thrive on managing complex,technical partnerships and have a passion for working with architects, servicesprofessionals, and product owners to identify solutions that support go-to-marketneeds now and lay a foundation for HPE’s long-term vision for a connected world.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS)in Business, Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration(MBA) preferred
  • 7 years strategic segment or product management experience,including services, business analysis, segment marketing, or product marketing

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Expert knowledge of support automation principles,practices, tactics and tools or equivalent product knowledge
  • Segment, product marketing orproduct management experience in data center infrastructure products and/or ITservice support management
  • Expert knowledge of offering, segment, partnerand account-based marketing
  • Well-developed understanding of the industry,offering categories and HP offerings/strategy
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Excellent written/oral communications
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build, manage and influence virtualteams
  • Excellent negotiating skills
