Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) Organization is seeking a Business Operations Analyst Intern in Roseville, CA. GCS with over 800 employees in 52 countries, is one of the largest indirect, service procurement and global real estate organizations in the world. Considered one of the most innovative global functions of its kind, GCS looks beyond traditional procurement & real estate for ways to drive even greater value for HPE. This includes helping the businesses generate increased revenue, driving innovation with strategic suppliers and doing the right thing for HPE’s customers and employees with respect to corporate and social responsibility. We procure everything from technology (such as hardware, software, and telecommunications) to marketing, outside labor, facilities and business services – basically anything that HP purchases or real estate related decisions in order to do business internally and in support of our outsourced services clients.

Responsibilities include:

Our program is designed to mentor and develop talented individuals with strong leadership potential and strategic thinking capability. GCS is a world class procurement & real estate organization responsible for spend in non-production goods, services and real estate. If you have the ability to work in a global, virtual environment, creating value though utilization of procurement, business and financial expertise, GCS’s Intern Program may be right for you. We are looking for energetic, highly motivated individuals who are working to complete a Bachelor’s level (or equivalent) degree. GCS wants people who can bring innovative ideas and fresh perspectives into our organization. Interns will be assigned challenging positions and projects, providing procurement knowledge and expertise to professionals spanning HPE’s business groups and functions.

Education and Experience Required

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or equivalent) and completed two years
  • Strong leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Geographic/cultural knowledge and/or experience
  • Self-starter with ability to manage work in multiple areas and within a virtual work environment
  • Effective collaborator
  • Ability to develop and promote positive change through innovation and creativity
  • Strong contributor who wants to make an impact
  • Strong business acumen and critical analytical skills
  • Drive to contribute and make an impact
