The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder

In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial

integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in

a financially correct and transparent manner.

Job Description:

Mexico Region Controllership has an open position in its organization. Focus in legal accounting, service financial

accounting, balance sheet reviews, best sheet reviews, oversight of GFS, and ensuring the financial close is completed is

completed on time with accurate finance statements.

Objectives are:

  • Drive the research and analysis on the Mexico service entity financials.
  • Review material GL to ensure US GAAP and Mexico compliant.
  • Document and summarize findings including root cause, short term and long term solutions
  • Liaise with various tax, and BU finance teams to propose solutions for non-compliant transactions
  • Provide oversight for the GFS team enlisted to manage movement of data from service accruals and compliance with

benefit bonuses.

  • Provide explanations on swings in IC related accounts as part of valuation exercise.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 6 years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Typically experienced in more than one finance function.

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.
