The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support drivingprofitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment tooperational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurateand timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciaryresponsibilities with unwavering integrity. In the Finance division, ourreporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management,financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting.Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correctand transparent manner.

Contracts Negotiator

  • Managesresponses to standard and non-standard contractual requests, evaluatingalternative agreements and assessing key risks; works in concert with seniorteam members and management in drafting responses and

negotiating with customers.

  • Managesplanning process for prioritizing deal support in working with senior sales andbusiness leaders, and implements the company legal strategy to focus on highvalue activities.
  • Alignsactivities and key initiatives with overall priorities of the company legal function.
  • Buildsstrong relationships and networks with the company legal colleagues, businessowners, sales personnel, support functions, as well as with customers tofacilitate effective escalations and efficient deal closures.
  • Acts asa key resource to assigned business teams.
  • Leadsnon-standard, medium risk, customerfacing contract negotiation, closure, anddispute resolution for multiple sales or business groups within a country.
  • Impactsinternal and external clients based in the country, potentially withinternational presence.

Education and Experience Required

  • FirstLevel University degree required.
  • Typically5-7 years of customer facing contracts, negotiation, or equivalent experience;or Advanced university degree, (e.g. JD/Law Degree or MBA) with 1-3 yearsrelevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Extensiveknowledge of key laws, policies, processes, and practices applicable to closingnon-standard contracts.
  • Developedunderstanding of the company products, service offerings, and capabilities.
  • Extensiveknowledge of key business and contractual risks.
  • Provenability to negotiate and close multi-business unit deals
  • Ability toinfluence different functions and build consensus where lines of authority areclear, both inside and outside the company.
  • Capable ofpresenting or escalating issues effectively to local sales and businessmanagement..
