- Participates as a member of development team.
- Completes development of units with designs prepared by more senior developers.
- Participates in code reviews. Prepares and executes unit tests.

Responsibilities: Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management system
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and up to two years of experience.
Healthcare knowledge. 4 years experience:
Strong COBOL required SQL query/update, HPExtream, Tuxedo, Corticon, Corticon Business Rules Engine would be a plus
Good verbal and written communication.
Ability to logically analyze complex processes and programs and problem solve
Ability to understand business processes and to be customer focused
Team player who can work effectively in a team environment as a member of an application development group
Performs analysis, coding and testing of new systems
Provides maintenance and support for existing systems
Strong technical coding skills with a proven track record of adherence to process
Familiarity with SDLC – Software Development Life Cycle
Familiarity with CMMI or Agile processes
Bachelors Degree preferred
Ability to interact with customers to analyze, define, test and implement technical solutions
Demonstrated documentation skills
Ability to troubleshoot and follow escalation procedures to resolution
Ability to interact with onsite customer support teams for both development and production problem resolution
Ability to work flexible hours if necessary
Ability to balance multiple concurrent assignments with minimal direct supervision
