Business Planning Manager

The EMEA ES Delivery Business Planning Lead provides a single point of contact accountability for End to End EMEA ES Delivery Business Planning Process and Governance. He/she provides strong program management ensuring all the planning workstream execution and the interlock on the content. Be the detection mechanism for issues and prepare decision points for the planning steering board. He/she is responsible for having an approved, executable business plan at the beginning of the FY

Key Responsibilities

Leadership for the whole EMEA ES Delivery Business Planning

Drive Business Execution/Planning to deliver E2E accountability

Create the plan of the planning and define planning templates, Standardize best-in-class Business Planning

Drive business planning governance and steering

Plan and prepare cross-check points for different planning work-streams

Follow up on deliverables status and content readiness

Drive attention of management to de-sync in organization and issues in planning

Prepare decision points for the steering

Provide functional leadership for the Cluster and Project and Run Delivery planning teams

Propose overall business governance structure

Prepare KPIs matrix (as part of the target setting process)

Effective interlock with supporting function in HP to get efficient support: Finance, Global Procurement, HR, SOAR OPS, Global Delivery, HR, etc…

Overall responsibility for all business processes related business planning, assure ownership is clarified – efficient processes with clear metrics implemented across the business

Ensure all planning related processes are documented and within the EMEA business process framework, act according process owner’s R&R and interlock with Business Process Lead when issues are detected or improvements are required

Tracks monthly progress vs. the business plan i.e. Status vs. Plan. Acts pro-active, addresses gaps and implements corrective actions.

Measure

−Documented, interlocked, approved business plan ready at start of FY

−Respected FY related targets are deployed against all defined KPIs/scorecard elements

−Data quality in all output from the planning function

−Governance for the execution of the Business Plan defined

−Planning process documented with BPFW and valid, changes are managed in timely manner

−Develop back-up knowledge actively

−Manage the performance of the Cluster, Project and Run planning people and coach them

−Develop one talent in planning – successor

−Internal feedback on the work
