The Resource Broker (RB) isresponsible for fulfilling labor demand from the Service Delivery organization.
The RB will match labordemand (positive and negative) with delivery organization supply in order tomeet or exceed delivery requirements while ensuring decisions are made based onthe Labor Strategy and at the lowest possible cost.
Labor resource assignmentsfor all Applications and Business Services (ABS) projects are made by theResource Broker.
Every Resource Broker willhave responsibility over a defined set of manager organizations. If the currentlabor supply is fully allocated and all possible internal resource options havebeen exhausted, the Resource Broker recommends actions to recruit additionallabor or leverage contingent labor or services based on specific demand needsand aligned to the Labor Strategy.
Resource Brokers shouldparticipate in demand Interlock meetings between the Region account teams anddelivery organizations
Supports Internal resourcesearches for demand fulfillment for one or more Delivery Manager organizationsin their business area in alignment with Labor Strategy (Right Resource,right location, right time, right cost)
Guides direction of demandfulfillment for external sourcing to align with Labor Strategy
Drives alignment with ABSLabor Strategy and escalates issues when deemed appropriate (Labor Strategy,Proposed resources rejected, etc.)
Drives an efficient demandfulfillment process
Reviews demand to ensure itis accurate and complete (Export Compliance, Data Privacy & Securityapprovals (WMA), Skills, FTE based, etc.)
Verifies availability ofresources and soft books/commits resources to demand signal
Understand current &proposed resource allocations and how they relate to account and service lineprofitability.
Challenge current &proposed allocations to ensure labor costs are optimized
Extensive knowledge of researchmethodology for key business issues
Excellent analyticalthinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
Ability to leverage newanalytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis
Extensive knowledge andunderstanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel
Strong business acumen andtechnical knowledge within area of responsibility
Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills in English is a must
Strong relationshipmanagement skills, including partnering and consulting
Developed leadershipskills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management
Ability to identify emergingtrends from market and industry data
Ability to learn new toolsand processes
Ability to adapt quickly tochange
Ability to work with peoplefrom multiple levels within the organization
Ability to work with crosscultural teams
4-5years of work experience in strategy,planning, operations, finance, or related functional
Graduate of a 4 year course
