The HPI Business Development Consultant will be focused on developing and maintaining the HPFS Americas relationship with HPI. The primary role will be to work closely with HPI, understand their strategic objectives and go to market strategies, identify opportunities to integrate HPFS offers and capabilities into these strategies and execute. In this role you will be directly supporting the Americas Marketing and Business Development Director and will also work closely with the Americas HPI Director. In addition the role will coordinate with peer roles in EMEA, APJ and the HPFS Global HPI team

  • Leads and develops product support or solution portfolio planning over entire lifecycle, including conformance to pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery and sales readiness and associated processes
  • Represents services on product or solution portfolio core teams and provides service requirements into product development stages/phases, e.g., Product warranty support and cost analysis, and Service Product Marketing content/collateral
  • Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/ solutions to drive business improvements
  • Works across regions/geographies and Worldwide (WW) teams to develop and/or implement new/enhanced services, solutions, or programs and associated processes to meet emerging customer/market needs and fuel profitable growth
  • Responsible for revenue and margin contribution for a set of (more than one) solutions or services
  • Provide leadership in the development, and execution of the company Services Vision – helping customers transform their business and derive measurable business value from their Information Technology (IT) investment
  • Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross functional activities that have a high impact on the services business
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower level employees
  • Leads cross organizational activities that have significant impact on WW growth of the services business.
  • Numerous products and services; activities have complex requirements and tight time frames

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA preferred

10+ years of business development experience preferably within leasing or financial services.

A track record of innovative and successful program development.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools

Experience in developing and leading campaigns.

In-depth knowledge of industry or customer segments, offerings/strategy.

Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines

Excellent influencing and consensus-building skills
