Application Delivery Manager

Enterprise Services is seeking to identify a highly motivated and qualified individual as Application Delivery Manager for its client in the automotive industry. You will become the manager of an agile service teams of roughly 25 people who will be based in the service center of the customer in Budapest.
To further transform the increased demands into high quality solutions at our customer, a Support & Development Center (SDC) will be established. There will be a ramp-up to the size of up to 25 persons within one year and will start with a focus on software development. Scrum teams will work based on adaptation of HPE applied Agile Application Development practice for customer’s manufacturing application’s development.
The services include:
- Software development including coding, testing and documentation
- Global technical 3rd level support
- Software installation support
for the transfer of client’s MES System (Manufacturing Execution System).
Application Delivery Manager (ADM) is the dedicated contact person onsite from HPE towards the customer. As the ADM, You’ll take care of the SDC’s organizational topics in order to ensure the SDC Service functions as defined. This will cover resource planning, resource assignment and resource alignment. You’ll be responsible for the communication to the customer and to ensure the SLA’s fulfillment. To inform the customer of the current status of the IT services a monthly report and quarterly review will be organized and held by you. The monthly acceptance of the service by the customer is your responsibility as well.
This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the services management in software development field. As you’ll lead a software developer team according to the Client’s methodologies and requests, you also need to have a solid technical experience in software development.
- At least a BSc degree in IT
- 8 years’ practice in IT industry with management experience, including:
- 4-5 years of experience in service delivery in a multi-cultural and cross-region environment
- 3 years as people manager of a technical team
- Software developer background with Scrum experience is necessary
- Fluency in Hungarian and good command in English is a must
