What's the role?
As the Partner Account Manager, you will create breakthrough opportunities for HERE and its partners in Japan.
You will be responsible for the end to end relationship with assigned Partners (Large Japanese Conglomerate) and execute on HERE’s Partner Program across Japan. HERE is growing our reach within targeted segments and your expertise within Transport & Logistics, Retail, Tech, Media and Telco, Public Sector will see you solving real business problems using innovative technology. You understand the organization, structure, and business model of Partners and develop relationships with decision makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.
You will ensure that the partners are fully engaged and aligned with HERE’s vision, culminating in the co-creation of solutions which address agreed business drivers and challenges.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Promoting and selling the full portfolio of HERE products and services through new and existing Partner solution providers
- Handling through partner sales, quota and responsibility for building a very strong pipeline of opportunities
- You will lead all aspects of Partner management, including product portfolio training, identifying and articulating the HERE value proposition, developing and executing the Partner business plan, and effective issue resolution.
- Leading and handling Partner initiatives and identifying new strategies & incentives for field engagement and business success
- Establishing full data accuracy in Salesforce and associated internal systems related opportunity pipeline
- Taking care of queries, partner concerns and actions quickly and efficiently, always maintain phenomenal communication and provide a regular flow of information which contributes to the overall Partner experience
- Collaborating closely with the HERE direct sales team and other key internal partners
Who are you?
You are a strong match for the role if you possess the following skills, abilities and work experience
- You have a degree in business,technology or related fields
- You are passionate about sales with 12+ years of validated Business to Business partner sales experience, preferably in IT Product or Platform companies
- You have experience in Non Automotive segments and understand the nuances of software solutions sales, especially through ISVs or Technology Partners.
- You are a creative thinker willing to challenge status quo with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions, while deeply understanding and respecting what works today
- You have strong problem-solving and influencing skills and the ability to conceptualize winning strategies, formulate strategic initiatives, and execute under tight timelines
- You have proficiency in Japanese and English
