Job Overview
The Internal Audit Intern is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department. As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Executes quarterly sales cutoff procedures for proper accounting treatment, including ensuring that equipment revenue is recorded in the correct period and properly supported by underlying documentation
- Assists with various substantive procedures to support external auditor's year-end audit
- Assists with executing financial and SOX compliance audit projects, including documenting and discussing audit results with audit managers

Work Experience:
No experience required.
Preferred Education:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
Pursuing a degree in Accounting or other related field.
Travel / Physical Demands:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Compensation:
The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.
Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.
Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.
Candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
