About the role:
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for supporting people and systems? Join our dynamic IT Infrastructure team and play a key role in ensuring our national workforce stays connected, secure, and productive.
We're looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide hands-on support across nine sites nationwide, servicing approximately 450 employees. This role is one of two dedicated positions in our IT Infrastructure team, responsible for both end-user support and the administration of critical systems including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to 450+ users across 9 sites
- Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provision, maintain, and refresh laptops, iPhones, and iPads
- Support and maintain Production and Test servers
- Assist in the resolution of cybersecurity alerts
- Manage printers and AV equipment across all locations
- Support networking infrastructure (switches, routers, VPNs, wireless, cabling)
- Configure and support Amazon Connect contact center agents
- Administer cloud services and identity platforms (Office 365, Entra ID/Azure AD)
- Document and standardise technical support procedures
What You'll Bring:
Experience, Education & Technical Skills
- Minimum 2 years in a similar IT infrastructure support role
- Tertiary qualification in IT discipline (such as Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Group Policy
- Solid understanding of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019/2022
- Experience with Exchange Online administration
- Familiarity with endpoint management and MDM tools (e.g., Telstra MDM)
- Exposure to Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice
- Some knowledge of macOS and Linux
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, ping, traceroute)
