Editorial Assistant, Hearst Design Group

The Hearst Design Group is seeking a whip-smart editorial assistant to assist the editorial director in all facets of his job. Duties will include maintaining the ED's calendar and scheduling appointments; processing email; and fielding phone calls. This assistant will make travel arrangements and will organize and file the ED's monthly expense report, and will help coordinate office management and order office supplies. Occasional writing opportunities for both SIP's and regular HDG issues may be possible. Interest in or experience at a shelter magazine is not mandatory but is preferred.


Editorial internship experience with a national magazine is highly preferred for this role.
