Senior DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will work closely with the Product Owner(s), UX, and other Developer team members to collaborate on solving business problems.


  • Supporting high-traffic web applications.

  • Working as a team to deliver projects in a timely fashion.

  • Help educate developers on how to program to scale.

  • Help with stories/scenarios. Actively participate in the scrum/Agile process.

  • Support development with continuous integration and other areas of automation.

  • Help monitor traffic and suggest new technologies that may result in cost savings.


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must have a good sense of urgency and feeling of ownership over what you are assigned to.

  • How to support a site that needs to scale for high traffic volumes.

  • Familiarity with the Agile Scrum software development methodology.

  • Knowledge of TDD and continuous integration.


  • Must have a strong desire to do great things, as a team.

  • Must have an open mind and be willing to learn new things.

  • 3+ years in a development / systems administrator / devops role.

  • Must have experience in some of the following: Amazon Web Services (API Gateway, ElastiCache, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS), GitHub, Node.js, CircleCi, New Relic, Terraform, Docker, NoSQL/ MongoDB, CDNs (ex: Fastly)
