Who You Are:

  • Passionate about and knowledgeable in law and best practices in commercial licensing, IP, employment, consumer relations, and can rapidly come up to speed and master best practices in regulations, health information, and data privacy

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage licensing agreements with current enterprise customers

  • Internal compliance, contract, and service level audits

  • Serve as a resource to help address our team’s legal questions

  • Manage complex negotiations including drafting and finalizing licensing agreements and closing contracts with new enterprise customers

  • Manage projects related to issues in regulation, IP, human resources, and data privacy

  • Manage the implementation of strategic legal initiatives

  • Provide legal guidance to the technical and business development teams from the initial stages of product development, through launch, to market strategy

  • Assess legal opportunities and risks and present them to leadership

  • Implement new, efficient, and scalable processes for the growing legal team

  • Build a legal strategy for commercial product launches

  • Build a team of world-class legal professionals

What You’ve Achieved:

  • JD or equivalent degree from a top-tier school

  • 5+ years of experience managing legal projects and legal processes in a fast-growing company/startup

  • Proven success in a fast-paced, top quality, entrepreneurial environments.
