Business Analyst - PHSP Facilitated Enrollment

The Business Analyst is responsible for reporting, business process reviews and data analysis relating to activities ensuring operational effectiveness and supporting profitable growth. The BA will assist PHSP management team by developing and maintaining reporting tool and processes, querying and analyzing data, identifying root causes, recommending and supporting decision making.

The BA will work collaboratively with Finance Analysis, Product Management and Enrollment and Billing to support acquisition and retention growth. S/he is also responsible for coordinating testing with team leads, working directly with the management teams to make project decisions while ensuring deliverables are communicated to the project team.

  • Prepare reports detailing a variety of conditions in the market to deliver to management
  • Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against Growth objectives
  • Align with business analysts, administrators and users of Business Process Management (BPM) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) reporting tools to establish and maintain PHSP sales dashboard.
  • Develop models and reporting structure that identify costs (by function, process, fixed and variable) per business unit.
  • Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis.
  • Analyze line of business operations to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.
  • Work in concert with Change Management Manager and Sales Operations Manager to operationalize Sales Transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing reporting tools/templates and processes.
  • Create ad hoc reports and data extracts against database using MS Excel, MS Access, SAS/SQL, and Crystal Reports.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of SQL/VBA/T-SQL/SAS programming languages
  • Experience identifying defects and improving departmental performance by supporting quality, operational efficiency and defined business requirements.
  • CCMS /MACESS/SQL experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with a proactive, flexible approach to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Python
  • Detail oriented and committed to high quality
  • Experience in large health care organizations and/or software development
  • Advanced level experience in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint and MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat Pro and intermediate level experience with MS Access and Project

Hiring Range:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $65,600 - $94,775
  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $58,300 - $86,700

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
