This position will be located in Chicago, IL.
What Are The Responsibilities Of The Team?
This team supports the product lifecycle from ideation through market launch by analyzing and interpreting market trends, supporting sales and marketing activities and analyzing product performance. Supports product management activities including: marketing collateral development, training, client reporting, monitoring product performance, and refreshing product pricing.
This position will rotate through Product Strategy and Management, Product Portfolio Management and Product Definition & Integration.
1) Within Product Strategy and Management, the intern will be responsible for supporting an existing product by analyzing the market landscape and trends, refining product positioning, leading development of sales collateral and identifying opportunities to improve product performance.
2) Within Product Portfolio, the intern will be responsible for supporting the development and revision of product portfolio marketing materials, assisting with product pricing projects, and supporting product analytics and reporting work.
3) Within the Product Definition and Integration rotation, the intern will contribute to the development of product needs and features documentation, as well as the planning and analysis for new products.
What Are Your Responsibilities?
-Draft product portfolio marketing materials
-Create clear and compelling project deliverables
-Gather and analyze product portfolio data
-Research and update the Product Playbook and other key department training reference materials
-Design and execute research and analyses in support of product development and management processes. Specifically may include: Market and competitor research, Financial analysis and proformas, Internal operational analysis, Regulatory requirements
-Work cross functionally with Actuarial and Underwriting to establish and refresh product pricing

-Previous internship experience preferred
What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
-Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
-Graduation date between December 2019 - June 2020
-A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
-Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer
-Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
