Tooling Analyst- DevOps Release

Job Purpose :
This position is responsible for the administration of all Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tooling, the integration of tools to support developers and DevOps teams, and Tooling Lifecycle Management (TLM) processes for all tools in his/her scope.
Required Job Qualifications :
•Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
•Knowledge of application development platforms.
•Knowledge of cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process
•Experience with Deployment tools administration (GitHub, Jira, Jenkins or other similar tools).
•Knowledge of standard code versioning / code merge tools and best practices.
•Knowledge of defect tracking systems.
•Knowledge of information systems acquisition and development.
•Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
•Knowledge of iterative / agile / scrum development.
•Knowledge of open source technologies.
•Knowledge of software development and deployment.
•Adaptability / ability to effectively manage change.
Preferred Job Qualifications :
•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
•Knowledge of required technologies (incl 3rd party solutions).
Understanding of DevOps terminology and principles.
•Passion for continuous improvement and learning.
•Ability to logically and creatively approach problems.
•Program / project management.
•Release / deployment management.
•Ability to drive cross-functional execution.
•Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
