Sr UX Researcher

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for crafting compelling user experiences across a spectrum of internal and public tools, in partnership with business stakeholders and IT; engaging in user research, usability testing, design work, design thinking, human centered design, useability, accessibility, mobile-first and responsive design.

Required Job Qualifications:

•Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience
•Present a diverse portfolio of engaging experiences
•Experience using prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Axure, Adobe CC

Preferred Job Qualifications:

•Deliver personas, sitemaps, taxonomies, wireframes, storyboards, paper prototypes, user flow diagrams, and functional prototypes
•Engage in heuristic evaluation, analogous research, competitive analysis, and definition of information architecture
•3 years of experience in interaction design
•Masters Degree in design (HCI, Cognitive Science, UX, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related degree from an accredited institution)
•Active involvement in the Design and/or Research community demonstrated by regular engagement in continuing education, committee work, meet-ups or public presentations. Publications are a plus.
