Job Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting PDL with end-to-end delivery of portfolio programs and projects to ensure successful execution and alignment with business needs; ensuring program and project performance metrics are met to deliver key business value; providing technical insight to assist with troubleshooting of delivery issues.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years of IT experience, including experience in Project management, OR 9 years of IT experience, including experience in Project management.
  • Analytical thinking and consultative problem solving / consulting.
  • SDLC / Iterative / Agile / Scrum development.
  • Knowledge of Application development platforms / languages.
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / PaaS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process.
  • Experience with Project / portfolio management tools - MS Project / CBA / PPM / PMP.
  • Business acumen.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Experience working in a highly outsourced / offshore environment.
  • Oral & written communications.
  • Program / project management.
  • Vendor / SLA management.
  • Ability to influence.
  • Proactively addresses problems and escalates appropriately.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Computer Science/Engineering foundation including at least 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role, and knowledge to deliver across development life cycles of various multi-tier applications ecosystem.
  • Seasoned project manager with 3+ years of experience managing technology projects (software development and application infrastructure) with aggressive schedules
  • Experience with health care or in particular Medicaid/Medicare line of business IT implementations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing business and technical partnerships.
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
