BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for assisting with developing and executing an outreach strategy and carrying out internal and external activities in support of ongoing operations of community relations. Also responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholder groups.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Health Care or Business Administration with 4 years of insurance work community outreach experience OR 8 years work experience in a community outreach or insurance environment.
  • 2 years management or supervisory work experience to include managing/supervising a program that focuses on health care, childrens or community services, and/or servicing Native American populations
  • Knowledge of the health care industry, contracts, applications and products
  • Experience in a role which requires public speaking, creative thinking and working with others
  • Oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Certified Community Healthcare Worker
