BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for managing the work of a professional staff for the implementation, statistical analysis and coordination of reporting systems and databases use to support state HMO Pay-forPerformance program and/or the Value Based Care Model. Manages the collection and analysis of health information, care programs, wellness programs and/or financial data to ensure the accuracy of information disseminated to internal and external customers to support analysis and/or delivery of our products and networks. Manages and controls the delivery of health information and analysis to practitioners, medical groups, network management, employer groups and other interested parties regarding the performance of providers in relation to utilization, cost, and quality and demonstrates the results of clinical care and wellness programs. Directs the creation and analysis of specific reports in support of the HMO Pay-forPerformance program and/or the Value Based Care Models.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration. 5 years experience, including 2 years supervisory experience in the analysis and control of health care utilization and cost data within a managed care environment. Detailed action planning and project management experience in a health care environment. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative standards and measures, survey development and coordination, and statistical measures and concepts. SQL programming skills and knowledge. Knowledge of software applications (database, spreadsheet), mainframe tools, and claims adjudication. Policy and reporting methodologies to review and approve the participation of physicians.
