Senior IT Process Design & Governance Analyst

BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for creating reports, insights and analytics in support of the division; creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; possibly providing consultation to users and leading cross-functional teams to address the division's issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; possibly performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs; interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment; working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division's data in order to meet business needs; analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers; identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Create reports, insights and analytics in support of the business.

2. Must have experience creating and implementing a communication strategy

3. Must have experience developing and reporting on divisional IT metrics.

4. Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; providing consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

5. Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; performing research and assist in analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs.

6. Interface between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment.

7. Work closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of government programs data in order to meet business needs.

8. Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers; identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

9. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.

10. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

Required Job Qualifications:

•Bachelors Degree and 4 years of performance analysis, consulting, or planning experience OR technical degree and 6 years of performance analysis, consulting, or planning experience OR 8 years of performance analysis, consulting, or planning experience.

•Experience with managing projects; Flexibility, responsiveness, and initiative in managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.

•Ability to influence and execute while navigating organizational politics.

•Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and make trade-off decisions.

•Teamwork and collaboration.

•Customer relationship management.

•Analytical thinking and consultative problem solving/consulting; ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts/processes.

•Clear and concise verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and employees, including developing and delivering presentations.

•Experience in process engineering and re-design.

•Quantitative and qualitative research skills.
