IT Process Design & Governance Analyst

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for leading new process design and process enhancement initiatives; supporting inventory and operations of current processes; aiding process delivery teams to coach on change control governance; aligning with key stakeholders to ensure end to end process continuity and governance of change control; support the continuous improvement campaign

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead process design and development initiatives leveraging Process Design & Governance (PD&G) best practices for smaller to medium size efforts
  • Serve as Process Consultant on larger process development efforts
  • Drive process readiness reviews both as initiator and peer reviewer
  • Lead and support process pressure testing activities such as Table Tops, Interaction Models, Walk Throughs
  • Conduct process workshops
  • Conduct process assessments and analysis
  • Conduct process Open Mic sessions
  • Refresh processes in accordance with PD&G standards
  • Assist with process inventory management and audit support
  • Assist with PD&G operations, reporting and special projects
  • Govern process change control, E2E roadmap, and cross functional team alignment.
  • Support continuous improvement campaign: execution, communication content and monitoring
  • Support and manage process governance tools (SharePoint, Yammer, etc)
  • Create process documentation and contribute to process knowledge base
  • Evaluation of continuous improvement ideas/options across all channels and metrics evaluation from CoE's including organizational (departmental/divisional) perspectives
  • Assist both innovation and strategy development with subject matter expertise, when appropriate

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of health care industry and/or IT experience, OR technical degree and 4 years of health care industry and/or IT experience, OR 6 years of health care industry and/or IT experience
  • Knowledge or experience in Six Sigma, Lean, BPM, CMMI, or CGEIT
  • Experience with project management lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Some experience managing projects; flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects concurrently
