Delivery Assurance Consultant

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for assessing the overall health of candidate programs and projects as part of a Delivery Assurance service. The position entails engaging program/project teams to identify key risks and issues in areas of business architecture, future state business processes and operational readiness related to implementation of IT solutions; analyzing the identified gaps and risks, and developing prescriptive recommendations for risk remediation and improvement

Required Job Qualifications

•Bachelor Degree with 4 years of experience in one or more functional areas of IT program delivery with domain knowledge in business architecture and/or systems integration

•3 to 6 years of experience in health insurance at an insurer, leading technology vendor, industry analyst firm, or management consultancy

•Prior experience in developing a view of business capabilities (organization, process, tools, and technologies) required to deliver against the business requirements; creating future state enterprise business capability models, value chain models and/or value stream maps

•Ability to quickly understand complex business or technical issues, with adequate attention to detail

•Ability to formulate original analyzes and actionable recommendations in areas of to-be business processes and systems integration

•Ability to influence management decision making through strong analytical and presentation skills

•Skilled in preparing concise and compelling written summaries of complex business or technical issues, with clearly defined recommendations

•Interpersonal skills, ability to engage project stakeholders in collaborative and positive manner

•Time management/prioritization, ability to quickly review/understand complex project documents.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• 3 to 6 of experience working as a Business Architect, Business Analyst or Integration lead on programs in the Health insurance domain
• Master Degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt and/or experience on a DMAIC program
