This position is responsible for assisting with brand and intellectual property compliance; recommending branding strategies; reviewing communications, advertising, social media, and other materials in various forms to ensure adherence to brand regulations, intellectual property laws, and state departments of insurance requirements.


  • Bachelor Degree or 4 years' experience in writing, marketing and communication activities.
  • 4 years' experience in communications.
  • Knowledge of HCSC products.
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication and editing skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
  • Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented.


  • Health insurance industry experience.
  • Working familiarity with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association Branding regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Blue Derivatives and trademarks.
  • Working knowledge of intellectual property law.
  • Knowledge of FileMaker Pro and ProofHQ software systems.
  • Knowledge of print creation and production, video production, and graphic design.
