HBO Publicity Assistant, Media Relations
Assist in all aspects of press and publicity for original series, comedy specials and special projects and events for a Media Relations executive with an extremely high volume desk and high-profile program assignments. Individual responsibilities include the following for multiple projects at a time: extensive photography work selecting, pulling and distributing episodic art for cover stories, features, recaps, interviews, awards features and special issues. Supporting the executive in daily dealings with the entertainment trades in regards to announcing new projects and casting on our projects. This role would also coordinate with other assistants in the company to organize times for interviews with the programming executives.
Additional duties include: Selection and distribution of video clips for talk show appearances, award shows and special events, working with talent and red carpet press at award shows, events and screenings, coordination of VIP ticket requests and distribution for late-night programming and comedy specials, the creation and maintenance of talent representative contact databases for all assigned projects, the creation and distribution of talent itineraries and press schedules (including hair and make-up coordination) for HFPA, press days, International press junkets and special events.
Other duties include compiling credential requests and overseeing credential distribution at Comic-Con International all while handling an incredibly high phone/email volume as well as travel and other administrative tasks for the Media Relations executive.
