HBO Assistant Manager, Promotion Planning & Scheduling

OVERALL SUMMARY:

Located in New York and reporting to the Director, Promotion Planning & Scheduling, this position will work on the Promotion Planning & Scheduling team responsible for strategic placement of promotional pre-roll across HBO's digital platforms. This role will also provide operational and analytical support to the linear side of the Promotion Planning & Scheduling team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate, timely input and maintenance of promotional pre-roll information into internal systems
  • Responsible for data input, daily and historical, for tracking and analysis
  • Assist in promotional analysis and subsequent recommendations for pre-roll placement across platforms
  • Contribute to brainstorms for promotional opportunities
  • Prepare key documents for the linear promotion scheduling team
  • Assist in the maintenance of linear wrap-up documents used to set benchmarks for future campaigns
  • Provide key information to team stakeholders to streamline workflow
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional with 2-5 years television experience or related field
  • Solid analytical background with experience working in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong passion for television content and pop culture
  • Awareness of the competitive landscape
