HBO 2017 Summer Intern: Media Relations - Documentary

OVERALL SUMMARY:

Work in a fast-paced environment with documentary media relations team on a diverse range of documentary films.

Must be able to work 35 hours/week in New York City.

Must be a rising junior or senior in college.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop press lists
  • Research
  • Distribute daily press clippings
  • Assist at special events and screenings
  • Admin support to publicity assistant and docu MR team
  • Helping execute PR campaigns

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Familiar with Cision if possible
  • Knowledge of digital social media platforms a plus
