POSITION TITLE:Financial Analyst

REPORTS TO:Executive Vice President/Director of Capital Markets

PURPOSE:To facilitate the daily management of financial operations and reporting. 

SCOPE OF POSITION:Responsible for the participation of daily management of financial operations and reporting as assigned by the EVP/Director of Capital Markets, as well as, any special financial or reporting projects. Work with all Harwood International departments to ensure financial and reporting compliance.


COMPLETED WHEN:The Chief Executive Officer and Harwood International’s financial operations and reporting goals and objectives are met.  


Financial Analyst

Ability to facilitate operating and capital budget development process;

Ability to prepare work plan, schedule and reports;

Ability to complete detailed analysis, research and make recommendations;

Ability to facilitate structuring and closing of debt, equity, acquisitions and refinance;

Ability to develop fundraising, investor relations, lender and capital partner resources;

Ability to analyze financial performance, rate of return, depreciation and working capital;

Ability to develop and prepare forecast models to analyze loans, development costs, and trends;

Ability to conduct other business studies as requested.


Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance/Economics/Real Estate (Master Degree Preferred);

Minimum 3-5+ years related experience;

Strong organizational, presentation and analytical skills;

Expert Excel knowledge;

Established contacts within the commercial real estate industry;

Proven track record of financial success.
