Managing Director, Human Resources

We are seeking a Managing Director to oversee day-to-day HR operations, which include recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and technology and systems. The successful candidate will be an experienced, inquisitive, mission-driven HR leader, focused on acquiring and developing the human capital workforce necessary toward actualizing our commitment toward achieving prosperity for all the children and families in Central Harlem—and beyond.
They will ensure a high caliber of management of the HR team, including ensuring all team members are delivering high quality work in their specific areas, talent goals are met, that team culture is strong, and that the organization and its leaders feel increasingly supported.
The ideal candidate will possess the combination of technical HR skills, tactful temperament, and the ability to interweave themselves into the day-to-day complexities of an established community-based organization. This position will report to the Senior Managing Director of Human Resources.
