Advocacy Coordinator, Peacemaker Elementary After-School Program

The Harlem Peacemaker program supports elementary and middle schools, offering a school success program during the school day and providing afterschool programs as well as summer programming. All of the programs are operated under the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene School Aged Childcare (SACC) as well as one DYCD location. The programs provide young people and their families with the support and services that enable them to have a vision of a productive future.
We are currently seeking an Advocacy Coordinator to provide full and complete oversight of the academic enrichment and support components of the program. The Advocacy Coordinator will ensure that program participants are receiving the needed academic support, college prep, and multi-cultural exposure to prepare them for college and careers. The Advocacy Coordinator reports to the Assistant Program Director.
