Prepares and processes merchandiseaccording to established procedures while meeting specific production, accuracyand safety standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to ensure theaccurate and timely flow of merchandise through the D.C.
Work under direct supervision andfollow standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks suchas any combination of the following: (depending on order volume)
Picking merchandise listed on aorder form and preparing order for shipment;
Other general warehouse tasks asassigned.
Provide outstanding service tocustomers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in atimely manner.
Base schedule of ten hours pershift, overtime may vary.
A forty-hour work week is notguaranteed due to fluctuation in workflow.
Must wear closed-toed shoes.
Ability to make accurate andefficient decisions as to the best way to process an order. Must meet andmaintain productivity and accuracy standards.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull,reach for, and grasp merchandise as needed to perform essential functions.Regularly required to lift or carry up to 20 lbs. Occasionally required to liftor carry between 30-50 lbs. Continuous physical exertion required, such aswalking, standing, bending, and stooping in addition to material handling.
Must pass Background Check.
Must pass Drug Test.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
7AM - 5:30 PM Sunday - Wednesday
10 PM - 6:30 AM Sunday - Thursday
Minimal or no educationalrequirement for this position. A high school diploma or equivalent ispreferred.
One year of experience ispreferred, but not required.
