Outlet Allocation Planner
Responsible for allocating and replenishing inventory to all Hanna Andersson Outlet stores. Makes informed decisions by analyzing historical data and using other KPI metrics to maintain ideal store inventory levels.
Allocates merchandise to all Outlet stores by creating transfers and managing model stock inventory levels
Drives sales by reviewing metrics such as stock to sales for several divisions, departments and SKUs
Tracks inventory from Distribution Center to the Outlet stores by reviewing open orders and monitoring in transit
Notify Outlet Managers of incoming merchandise and ensures merchandise has appropriate flow into stores
Use store maps and other tools to plan and allocate new store opening inventory
Partner with Retail allocation to facilitate incoming transfers
Identify and recommend discounts for less desirable, high quantity merchandise to ensure liquidation in a timely and profitable manner
Assist in identifying inventory opportunities between selling channels
Maintain open and positive communication with Retail District managers and Outlet Store managers
Assists in running and distributing Outlet sales reporting
Regular contact with: Retail and Direct inventory, Information Systems, Outlet Merchandise Manager, Retail Allocation and Distribution Center staff.
Specific Job Skills:
Advanced MS Excel skills required
Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to focus on details and maintain accuracy.
Education and Experience:
2 years previous inventory management experience, with specialty retail company experience preferred. Experience with planning and distribution systems highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in related area preferred.
