Prepares and processes merchandise according to established procedures while meeting specific production, accuracy and safety standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to ensure the accurate and timely flow of merchandise through the D.C.
Work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks such as any combination of the following: (depending on order volume)
Picking merchandise listed on a order form and preparing order for shipment;
Other general warehouse tasks as assigned.
Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
Base schedule of ten hours per shift, overtime may vary.
A forty-hour work week is not guaranteed due to fluctuation in workflow.
Must wear closed-toed shoes.
Hiring Wage: $11/hour -$12/hour
Ability to make accurate and efficient decisions as to the best way to process an order. Must meet and maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach for, and grasp merchandise as needed to perform essential functions. Regularly required to lift or carry up to 20 lbs. Occasionally required to lift or carry between 30-50 lbs.
Continuous physical exertion required, such as walking, standing, bending, and stooping in addition to material handling.
Must pass Background Check.
Must pass Drug Test.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimal or no educational requirement for this position. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One year of experience is preferred, but not required.
