Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Swindon (Symmetry Park), supporting our customer, Iceland. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will coordinate the customer requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction while reporting all the relevant KPI's and finance information to manage and support your colleagues.
This is a full time, permanent position, working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of, 07:00 15:00 and 15:00 - 23:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide leadership and guidance for the shift warehouse team and the team leaders to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address operational issues effectively and in a timely manner
- Continually control cost to ensure the operation meets or exceeds budgeted targets
- Follow all HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance absence management and any other employee relations issues
- Deliver team member performance reviews and develop a succession plan as appropriate
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience or knowledge of change management practices is desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance
- Operational understanding of team roles within a warehouse operation
- Managing conflicting priorities in a fast-moving environment and planning and organising skills within a warehouse operation
