Responsibilities:

During an intensive, one-to-two month training period, you'll develop a working knowledge of the industry, competitive landscape, Guidepoint's offerings, and client base. Over the following ten months, you'll work directly with senior members of the business development team to identify and cultivate prospects in the corporate space. (Key prospects include major corporations in diverse sectors such as biotech, consumer and pharma.) On a daily basis, you'll conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, to generate new leads and follow up with warm leads. Partnering with senior sales personnel, you'll set up sales meetings with prospects. You'll also help create marketing materials and client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of sales, business development , business consulting and/or account management experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, strong level of achievement preferred
  • Broad-based knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
