Are you a highly motivated Scientist with experience working with specialized animal models of disease, with emphasis on diseases of inflammation? If so, this Investigator In Vivo Biologist , Immunology Models role would be a great opportunity to consider.

As an Investigator In Vivo Biologist, you will be joining a high-functioning team of scientists. The scientist will support drug discovery programs with a focus on running established protocols as well as developing new assays to interrogate pharmacology of novel modulators of innate immune targets. The selected candidate will be expected to effectively manage and motivate reports, have excellent communication and organizational skills, present results at team and project meetings, and maintain accurate records.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • PhD or MS in Immunology, Biotechnology or Biomedical sciences fields with laboratory research experience in an immunology environment
  • Experience conducting in vivo studies in animal models of inflammatory and/or other disease models
  • Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, consistent results in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively and meet timelines successfully with the utmost attention to detail while setting high performance standards
  • Flexible, focused, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data
  • Design and executes new and established methods and protocols

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Pharmacodynamic assay development
  • Experience with FACS analysis of in vivo tissue samples
  • Cellular and Molecular biology experience is required.
  • Experience with primary cell culture
  • Experience running ELISA/MSD assays.
  • Previous experience in biotech and/or pharmaceutical drug discovery
  • Previous management experience
