As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, set-up, preventative maintenance and repair of equipment associated with cGMP manufacturing operations while complying with instructions on standard operating procedures and batch documents.

  • Modify departmental LSOP's as needed in support of daily operations and implement IE initiatives within primary area of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance to GSK policies and procedures for the management of the maintenance of GMP facilities and equipment.
  • Remains current on RCRA and DOT training and complete hazardous waste management activities in compliance with applicable regulations and GSK policies.
  • Compliance to good documentation practices and "right the first time".
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities throughout facility and grounds.
  • Maximize total system up time by monitoring system performance and making repairs/adjustments as necessary (Boilers, Steam Distribution, Chillers, Air Compressors, Vacuums, Air Handlers, Refrigeration, etc.)
  • Able to follow all maintenance safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to GSK safety programs.
  • Oversee contractors and other vendors that schedule work during or after normal business hours.
  • Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Perform daily rounds and complete necessary documentation to ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Pluming and Pipe fitting license for the State of Montana.
  • Area of Specialization: Plumbing and Pipe fitting
  • Provide evidence that the individual has higher education related to construction and maintenance experience.

Minimum level of job-related experience required:
  • 3 years of field maintenance and system diagnostic experience.
  • Provide evidence that tasks that are assigned can be completed by a competent person

Area of specialization : Automation and Controls

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Area of Specialization: Electrical background including controls, low voltage wiring, instrumentation, programming of VFD's, and fire alarm experience
  • Provide employer evidence that employee can read, write, and understand directions

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Automation, controls with programming of PLC/Frequency Drives/low voltage.
  • Area of Specialization: Electrical, low voltage/ controls/programming and automation.
  • Provide evidence that the individual has higher education related to construction and maintenance experience.
Minimum level of job-related experience required:
  • 5 years of field maintenance, installation and system diagnostic experience.
  • Provide evidence that tasks that are assigned can be completed by a competent person
