Context
The Site Automation team is part of the Site Engineering department, and is in charge of support all the aspects related to automation computerized systems adopted in Production MPU and QC. Site Automation has the following main responsibilities:

  • Technical Operations Support (incidents, investigations, technical problem solving)
  • Assure Reliability and Compliance (maintain system configurations and documentation, support qualifications and change management, execute efficient CAPA)
  • Address System Design (design reliable and compliant systems, support development of global strategies and roadmaps)
All these tasks are managed and tracked through enterprise systems which allow to compute statistics and KPI evaluations, in order to identify adherence to expectations, successes and pain points and support the continuous improvement process for the team. Currently Site Automation needs to build up effective KPIs, and the process to analyse and evaluate KPI in order to pursue continuous improvement. The realization of this setup would be a great opportunity for an intern.

Project description
  • Project purpose : build up effective KPIs, and the process to analyse and evaluate KPI in order to pursue continuous improvement
  • Main activities : indentify the sources of relevant data and statistics for Automation KPI, realize a digital collection and elaboration system for such data, develop digital dashboards to display results
  • Expected results : deliver a set of dashboard to display relevant KPIs, able to highlight successes and point out pain points, bad actors and all the possible imprvement areas

Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience
  • Technical competencies : develop/improve skills in digital data management and business intelligence, data collection, computation and display
  • Operational Excellence : develop skills in process analysis and continuous improvement
  • Relational competencies: learn to have relationships and interaction with many people with different expertises, roles, and organizational responsibilites

Requirements
  • Master degree in Engineering or Information Technology
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of Information technology infrastructure
