VP of Product Development

Grubhub Holdings, Inc. seeks VP of Product Development in New York, NY. Duties: Be responsible for driving product strategy and planning, and managing the design and execution of a broad swath of initiatives. Be a product owner and key point person and subject matter expert for significant areas of our business, including our diner ordering platforms, our restaurant-facing technology and programs, and our internal business operations and technologies. Play a key role in connection with GrubHub's strategic direction defining and articulating new opportunities, and working in close concert with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, GrubHub's technology team and various business teams to articulate specific goals; envisioning, articulating and prioritizing a long-term product strategy designed to achieve these goals; communicating strategies and goals to project teams and ensuring delivery against them; gathering and unearthing unmet customer needs through research, data analysis, user experience analysis and testing, competitive research and other relevant tools; and delivering on rigorous, quantifiable business objectives in matrixes, flat organization for all constituencies, including diners, restaurants, corporate accounts, and internal stakeholders, and strategy creation by maintaining highest product quality while driving revenue growth. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience. Experience analyzing business problems effectively and working cross-functionally to prioritize and ultimately drive solutions in a technology environment. Track record of success in fast-paced organizations with matrixed reporting environments, using collaborative approaches to drive effective solutions when no direct reporting relationship exists. Experience working collaboratively across a broad organization including technology, account management, marketing, finance, operations, business development and sales divisions. Experience crystallizing and broadly socializing insights into stakeholder needs that the stakeholders themselves may not be able to articulate. Experience using data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals and metrics, and aid in the prioritization of initiatives and features. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive action. 40 hours/week.
