Grubhub is looking for an exceptional communicator who has managed training at a leading company. This person should have experience creating and executing a training curriculum, with a focus on developing a scalable, self-service model. The right candidate is self-motivated and ready to bring a whatever-it-takes mentality to our fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will be in charge of building the training programs, working across the Grubhub Ops org to deliver the content, and analyze the efficacy of training.  In addition, you’ll need to establish a close relationship with the business to ensure that our training programs align with day-to-day operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define a holistic eLearning strategy for training internal and external teams
  • Develop and implement training modules within a learning management system
  • Establish the curriculum/content for new hire onboarding and ongoing training for each of the key roles within Grubhub Ops
  • Deliver training sessions to key constituents in the Grubhub Ops org
  • Identify high-value process improvement opportunities and drive change through cross-team working groups and targeted training
  • Set KPIs for training program, measure and report on those at regular cadences
  • Create continuous feedback loops with GMs and other counterparts in the org
  • Continue to push the bounds of the training program by challenging assumptions, testing hypotheses and iterating

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to adult education or training preferred, or equivalent work experience. Masters degree in training or adult education a plus.
  • 3-5 years experience in a training role required
  • Must have experience with the full e-Learning development process, training curriculum development and utilizing Learning Management Systems
  • Superb communication skills, including excellent one-on-one and group presentation skills
  • Ability to make complex ideas easily understandable
  • Terrific attention to detail
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • A high level of creativity -- training should be fun and engaging
