A bit about you
We’re strategically scaling our B2B Growth and CRM initiatives, and we’re seeking a Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager to help drive acquisition and retention efforts for GroundTruth’s fast-growing business lines.  In this role, you’ll combine analytical rigor with marketing operations savvy to fully unlock the potential of the CRM system.   You’ll own the marketing operations for lead management and scoring models, as well as marketing analytics for the Marketing Team. You will turn customer data and insights into actionable strategies, and help guide customer journeys for our growing customer base. 

You will be our CRM platform and marketing analytics expert.   The ideal candidate will have experience in lead lifecycle flows, lead management and nurturing, lead scoring models, and marketing data analytics.  Your insights and analyses will support initiatives across email, display, paid media and social, webinars and newsletters.  

This role will report to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing. 

You Will: 

Marketing Operations: 

  • Design coordination and automation for lead management, list/audience segmentation for all business lines
  • Support Lead Lifecycle Programs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test and optimize the lead lifecycle
  • Work closely with Salesforce Operations and Data Science to continuously optimize lead management and scoring methodologies and processes, and to improve marketing/sales related activities/processes in Salesforce/Marketo
  • Analyze marketing and sales data for activity efficacy and improvement in marketing and sales leads


  • Perform segmentation and analysis of prospect and customer groups in the CRM platform (Marketo)
  • Work closely with Growth Marketing team members and the marketing leadership to understand their KPI’s; guide building reports and dashboards that track those KPI’s and share insights for future optimization of growth strategy; develop attribution models for growth marketing campaigns
  • Analyze performance metrics and sales reporting to develop recommendations for campaigns
  • Help develop a vision for analytics architecture, various predictive models, and efficient workflow across marketing
  • Execute, manage, and analyze marketing data from conceptualization through presentation of the data (data visualization and storytelling); communicate complex concepts to nontechnical audiences
  • Provide data reporting mentorship to the rest of the marketing team
  • Taking a Customer-First Approach: You will take a customer first thought process and be a creative thinker, who isn’t afraid of working with data to enhance campaigns and overall strategies

 You Have: 

  • 4+ years of experience of working with CRM systems and lifecycle marketing (e.g. Marketo, Hubspots, SalesLoft, etc.) You’ve worked in numerous systems and know the ins and outs of how to build lead flows and lead scoring
  • Data and results-driven: Strong customer segmentation and analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive action.  
  • Extensive experience with website analytics tools (i.e.: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HEAP, Looker, Hot Jar, etc.), designing data architecture and management, create attribution models
  • Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with advanced formulas, pivot tables) and experience working with large data sets
  • Strong understanding of a broad range of online advertising media channels such as display, mobile, search, email, site, and social
  • Ability to get into the details, problem solve, resolve issues and bring teams together.  A natural leader, who’s also passionate about effective collaboration. And you’ve got excellent interpersonal skills that you utilize to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • A self-starter with a “break through walls” mentality, who is ready to get the job done no matter what challenges you come across
  • Strong track record of effective time/project management; ability to multitask & prioritize to ensure project deadlines are met, deliverables are provided on time
