COMP RANGE: $130,000 - $140,000
Terova is hiring a Marketing Manager to establish professional marketing within this startup-like member of the Griffith Foods family of companies. This role will implement and execute all elements of global marketing & communications, and develop the Terova strategic portfolio management plan. The role will partner with the leadership team to develop the programs and the content to communicate Terova's strategy, capabilities platform, global sustainability initiatives, and product/segment-specific developments for internal and external audiences internationally.

This is your opportunity to create a brand marketing strategy and build a marketing & communications team & practice within Terova. This is a new role and is the first Marketing hire for Terova, so you will be fostering collaboration within Griffith Foods teams worldwide to ensure cohesive and effective marketing regarding Terova's programs, products and sustainability initiatives, while also managing relationships with external content creators, designers, and agencies.
As a Terova Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop the Terova portfolio strategy based on Terova's long-term plan, designed to drive accelerated growth and profitability in its core areas of focus including Spices & Herbs, Specialty Extracts, Sustainable & Innovative Functional, and Nutritional Ingredients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics and develop a strategic portfolio management plan based on business analytics, insight analysis, and business dynamics.
- Analyze Terova's portfolio performance and recommend growth opportunities to drive financial and non-financial impact, and provide strategic view and guidance to the business to define "Where to Play" and "How to Win" initiatives, based on trends, insights, and information.
- Work with the leadership team to develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies and to develop the programs and the content to communicate Terova's strategy, capabilities platform, global sustainability initiatives, and product/segment-specific developments for internal and external audiences internationally.
- Maintain and enhance the brand's visual identity and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital, print, and events) to promote Terova's products/capabilities both internally and externally.
- Oversee the development of high-quality marketing content such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, blogs, and social media posts.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
- Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility; and identify and manage sponsorship opportunities to increase brand exposure.
- Work closely with business development teams to support lead generation and conversion efforts including developing comprehensive briefs & marketing plans for Business Development/Segment Leads to enhance brand recognition and differentiation; being hands-on in content creation and presentations for cross-functional team needs and in organizing/executing events, field visits and product demonstrations.

- Demonstrate an ability to collaborate with customers, technical subject matter experts, executive leadership, cross-functional and multi-locational colleagues and creative partners.
- Can influence without authority in order to tap into the marketing resources available within Griffith Foods while the Terova team is growing.
Qualified candidates will have:
- B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Sustainability, Agribusiness, Food Science or a related area
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a high growth environment or product marketing with a strong focus on building brand awareness and generating qualified leads.
- Proven track record in brand strategy development and execution
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and effectively present insights and recommendations market data and portfolio performance indicators
- Strong communication skills
- High level of team orientation, with the ability to influence others effectively.
- Demonstrated experience with marketing using all types of social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
- Expertise with MS Excel, Power BI, Powerpoint
- Willingness & ability to travel occasionally in order to participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
What will set you apart:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Brand marketing experience at a Food, Nutrition, or Supplement company. Experience marketing flavors or spice is an even bigger plus.
- Expertise with Canva, Photoshop and other digital editing and presentation tools for content.
