Pay Scale: Min $115K - Max $160K (US Currency)

Summary: The Regional Supply Chain Finance Leader plays a key role in supporting the financial performance and operational efficiency of the supply chain and manufacturing activities within the region.

This role will be representing finance inside operations, acting as the finance conscience, helping them understanding, controlling and improving "their Business", by bringing insight to decision-making, improving visibility on the cost drivers, driving productivity and adding financial acumen into the strategic initiatives as well the day-to-day activities. Identity productivity improvements by separating non controllable drivers (product mix, volume impact, inflation) from productivity improvements through GPE and Productivity Capex. The position collaborates closely with regional operations leadership and reports functionally to the Regional Head of Finance / VP Finance, with a dotted line to the Director, Global Finance-Operations.

The role will be in the driving seat of designing and implementing a new control and analytical environment for Operations and Supply Chain while driving performance with a CANDO attitude and hands-on approach at the plant and business level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with regional and organizational supply chain goals.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing plant leaders to create budgets and forecasts tailored to each plant's operational requirements.
  • Support long-term strategic planning by analyzing trends in production costs, inventory management, and supply chain expenses.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor key financial metrics across all manufacturing plants, such as cost efficiency, production variances, and margin performance.
  • Prepare consolidated financial reports for the region, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to senior leadership.
  • Analyze deviations from planned budgets and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Operational Partnership:

  • Work closely with plant managers and supply chain teams to align financial decisions with operational objectives (e.g., production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory optimization).
  • Serve as a financial advisor to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and support cost-saving initiatives.

Expense Management & Optimization:

  • Oversee regional expense controls, ensuring all plants adhere to financial targets without compromising performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs through process improvements, supplier negotiations, and waste reduction.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals located at each manufacturing plant, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide guidance and training to direct reports, helping them improve analytical skills and align their work with regional priorities.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure financial practices meet regulatory standards and internal policies across all plants in the region.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with supply chain operations, such as fluctuating material costs or disruptions.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align supply chain strategies with financial goals.
  • Facilitate communication between plant finance teams and regional or corporate leadership, ensuring smooth information flow.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid knowledge of cost accounting.
  • The ability to align financial strategies with supply chain operations and long-term regional goals.
  • Proactively anticipating market shifts, cost challenges, and opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical skill, eye for detail, accuracy, with high working standard.
  • Proven ability to identify and drive profitability improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective cross-functional relationships and strong influencing skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and cleaning and analyzing data.
  • Willingness to regularly travel 25% of the time.
